A collocation is a natural combination of words that are often used together, like “make a decision” or “heavy rain.” It sounds correct to native speakers, while other combinations (“do a decision” or “strong rain”) sound odd.

approve of someone  –  if you approve of someone or something, you have a positive opinion of them or it;

make a decision – to make a choice about something, especially after thinking about several possibilities;

get a chance – to have an opportunity to do something;

go out with someone – having a romantic relationship;
